Made some progress after stripping the primer off, cleaning up the models a bit and re-priming. I started painting this fellow tonight to dive back into the hobby after a long hiatus. I have to give Big Bad Bull and Airdale from the Freeboota forums a shout out for sending me some badly needed bits.

Cat's Deff Koptas
I bought 3 BR partially assembled deffkaptas off ebay for $10. When I
received them I found that to ship them, the seller had snapped off
the rotors before putting them in the box and worse wrapped everything
so tightly that they had broken off some of the blades off the rotors.
Sighhhh
The partially assembled bit was bad too. I could have stuck the blade of a butter knife in some of the gaps where they had been "glued".
Long story short, these babies need a lot of TLC to be presentable

Stripped minis
It took soaking in undiluted Purple Power for 24 + hours to soften the paint up to take it off with some scrubbing with a tooth brush. If you do this, wear gloves!
