New vs. Old Assault Marine

An assault marine I painted 15 years ago versus one I finished today.  Keep in mind that I have not painted much in 15 years.

Deff Kopta progress

Cleaned them up and re-glued them.  Some bits still did not go together well but I can fix that.  I was getting ready to pin the rotors when a friend (Hola mi amigo Celsork!) suggested using magnets...DOHHHHHHH.  Why did I not think of that?!?!?!?  So I'm ordering magnets tomorrow.

Assault Marines

Made some progress after stripping the primer off, cleaning up the models a bit and re-priming.  I started painting this fellow tonight to dive back into the hobby after a long hiatus.  I have to give Big Bad Bull and Airdale from the Freeboota forums a shout out for sending me some badly needed bits.
